Site Improvements Backfire

Playing with Hybrid-News at àlaTest inspired me to make àlaBuzz leaner and cleaner. I spent hours “tweaking” here. Now I have boo-boos. Dynamic Content Gallery is destroyed. There are unwanted bullets in the sidebar widget titles. Etc.

Bear with me while I get things straightened out.  Should I learn anything of value, I’ll pass it along.

Oh, I have learned some things (that you already know):

• Stay within the framework of what your theme is designed to handle. Don’t try to push the limits of possibility (particularly if you don’t know code!)
• It’s better to start from the ground up. Whether you’re building a blog or sewing a dress, alterations are the pits.
• Know when to say, “Tomorrow is another day.”
