If you’d like to guest post at àlaBuzz, you may submit an article. It’s an opportunity to demonstrate your expertise on a topic related to blogging, and you can include a link to your own site in the author’s bio at the end of the article.

Of Interest to Bloggers

Submitted articles should be of interest to àlaBuzz readers, who are generally bloggers themselves. Scope the site to get a sense of what’s going on here. Then write about something that helps people blog better, faster, or easier. Here are some broad ideas for “best blogging info” articles:

• Detailed how-to for using a blogging tool, app, or service.
• In-depth review of a new tool, app, or service people will want to use with their blogging.
• Interview of a successful blogger, describing their best practices.
• Your most intriguing/enlightening blogging experience (successes, blunders, etc. – motivation and/or humor is all good!)
• Anything about niche blogging that is informational (not promotional)

What to Avoid

Avoid appearing self-promotional. However, it is fine for authors to use their own projects as examples if they genuinely help the reader to better understand the point or concept being discussed. It’s better to use screenshots, instead of links to your own site, for descriptive purposes.

Avoid submitting poorly written work. Guest posting is part of your own branding and reputation management strategy! Besides, I only publish well-written articles.

Be cool! Keep your author’s bio brief and succinct. One link to your own website is allowed.
