The 14th annual Web Market Association’s WebAward is a serious competition. It is open to organizations and professional individuals involved in the process of developing web sites for organizations, companies, and the government.
WebAward will name the best websites in 96 industries, while setting a standard of excellence for website development. Entries will be judged on the following seven criteria:
Only one Best Website in each industry will win the WebAward. The Outstanding Web Site and Standard of Excellence awards may be awarded to multiple winners in each category. There is no cash prize. The benefits of winning include recognition, prestige, and promotional opportunities.
The deadline to enter is May 25, 2010. Entered web sites must have been in general use for at least part of 2009 or early 2010. The entry fee is $225, except for the non-profit category, which is $125. Visit the WebAward site for more details.
