….. when I said at no cost, let me expand on this …… you have the cost of buying your website address and getting it on a domain server and suddenly realising that you own your very own website address. So what have you spent? About $10.00 to buy your domain for a year ……… so the bad news is… there is a cost!

Become the Master of the Universe!

Having your own website address means that you are the master of your own universe. It means that you can put whatever you like on your website … maybe nobody will read it!! … But you have the satisfaction of knowing that “I created this web page and all the content.”

The Pot of Gold

At this point you are faced with millions … no I exaggerate here… I should not say millions, or even billions, but zillions of sites offering you help and advice and systems that will create a golden pathway for you as you travel to the room with the pot of gold!

Advice for Free!

Advice for free!! Yes, help and advice for free….but it comes at a cost!

We have already had a cost of 10$ to swallow; now we have to expand on help and advice for free.

We are talking here about levels of help and advice …..

Understanding At a Tangent (But Who Is the Tangent?)

You have a busy street and see a blind man wanting to cross the street… You say “Can I help you across the street?” “Yes please,” he says, and you wait until the lights change, and then you walk with the blind man across the street. Mission accomplished. At this point the blind man says thank you for your help.

Thanking people for what they have done is often worth more than money. You feel good… you have helped somebody.

You Can Call This Level 1 Help

Now let’s look at the same situation again … You see the blind man waiting to cross the street. You could go to him and say “Can I help you cross the street?” “Yes please” he says….. All change here …

Now you say, “How soon do you want to cross the street?” “Well,” says the blind man, “I have an appointment at the doctor and he will give me back my sight, so it is very important that I cross the street now… Can you help?”

“No problem,” you reply. “Because you want to cross the street now I have a special traffic stopping control which I invented and can offer to you now for £1,000. … Would you like to buy it?”

You Can Call This Level 5 Help

“Oh,” said the blind man. “Yes I would, but it seems an awful lot just to cross the street ….. I think I will just wait.” “No problem,” you say, “But if you do buy my traffic stopping system, it means you can cross the street now, and as a special bonus because you are the best friend I have ever had, I am prepared to offer you these special gloves which will always make traffic stop for the next 3 months.… But you have to buy my traffic stopping control first.”

You Can Call this Level 10 Help

The traffic continued to roar past, and the blind man began to worry more about missing his appointment. It was a once in a lifetime chance to get his sight back. “Okay,” said the blind man….And he gives you $ 1,000.

You immediately started the special traffic stopping device and the traffic stopped. The blind man then crossed the road with his special traffic stopping gloves and arrived at the doctor’s for his appointment. The doctor was sick that day and had cancelled all his appointments. But that was not your problem!

Understanding That the Tangent Was Really the Blind Man

Hopefully you can see that help and advice comes at different cost levels, and depending on how quickly you want to get there depends on how much you are prepared to pay. Over the course of my involvement with the internet, I have realised that with a bit of patience, perseverance and luck, you can create a website and a blog which appears on Page 1 of Google and Page 1 of Yahoo at a monetary cost of $ 10.00 ( as mentioned before ).

The Power of Patience!

Patience is the keyword here! You have to be prepared to learn how to do all the things that you have to do to make your site appealing.

Perseverance Will Bring In the Harvest!

Combine patience with perseverance and you have just discovered the formula that will give you the route to being the recipient of a good and repetitive harvest!

Tennis and the Internet

Obviously, once the ball (the visitor) is in your court(your website), it is up to you to make the visitor stay, and read, and absorb information. Then with a bit of luck, they will feel sufficiently compelled to start clicking through your pages and visiting products and services you have placed on your site.

Rocket Science and the Internet

This article is not rocket science, and the Internet is not rocket science. All it takes, is the desire to learn and accept advice from people who “have the T Shirt!” and have been “round the block” a few times.

It is up to you to make the difference. Take action … do something…. Beg or borrow $10.00 from somebody and get started!
